"PowerMetal's bottom‑up nano‑material
process delivers unparalleled material performance in
a cost‑effective
one‑step process"

Originally a R&D arm of Ontario Hydro, Integran is a leader in the development of nanotechnology. Integran and its predecessor organizations have been at the forefront of metallurgical nanotechnology development for over 20 years. From the first large scale structural application for nanostructured materials in the award-winning electrosleeve process for nuclear steam generator repair, and one of the earliest issued U.S. patents in the field of nanotechnology (U.S. Patent No. 5,352,266), Integran has established an international reputation for excellence in materials technology development and commercialization.
Integran has a materials production and characterization laboratory in Toronto, Canada with a highly-skilled, multi-disciplinary workforce which includes 14 scientists and research engineers having advanced degrees in solid state physics, chemistry & chemical engineering, materials science and metallurgical engineering, and mechanical & industrial engineering.
